Lupe Fiasco recently announced the “Tour For The Fans” to be held to honor his loyal fan base. Fiasco will be joined by Billy Blue, The Boy Illinois and Zverse on various dates. The “Thank You” tour kicks off on January 17th at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA and ends on February 13th at The Vogue in Indianapolis, IN.
“I’ve dedicated this tour to my fans who have stood by me as I work on new material for 2016,”
Fiasco told HipHopDX.
Last month, the Chicago rapper also unveiled plans for three full album releases in 2016.
As previously announced in a Rolling Stone interview, “For some people it’s gonna be a shock, because there are no politics on the record. Consciously, there are no politics on the record,” he told Rolling Stone prior to the release of his last album, Tetsuo And Youth. “If you want to hear my political spiel or some pseudo-intellectual Lupe, go listen to [2012’s] Food & Liquor II. From here on out, I’m just making music.”
