New Year’s Eve — right before the ball dropped, rapper Kanye West slammed comedian Bill Cosby in his new song, “Facts” produced by Metro Boomin and Southside.
This is the second time in a row West, 38, has dropped a new song on New Year’s Eve. Last NYE, he released “Only One,” featuring Paul McCartney.
The Metro Boomin-produced track touched base on a lot of important recent matters that sparked the public interest in 2015 : “Do anybody feel bad for Bill Cosby?/ Did he forget the names just like Steve Harvey?”, West asks on the track.
Cosby, 78, was charged with second-degree felony for aggravated indecent assault on Wednesday, December 30, after dozens of women have come out last year accusing him of sexually assaulting them over the last few decades. Cosby did not enter a plea; he was released on $1 million bail, and the following day he took to Twitter, thanking his friends and fans.
Friends and fans, Thank You.

Also, on December 20, the 58-year-old Family Feud host, Steve Harvey, accidentally named the wrong winner for Miss Universe. Miss Colombia said she felt “humiliated” that night when the crown got taken off her head to be given to Miss Philippines, who was initially the winner.
The Chicago rapper also spoke about his intentions to run for presidency in 2020, “2020, I’mma run the whole election” (last year, West announced during the VMAs that he’ll be running for president). You can listen to the track here.
West is expected to release his upcoming seventh album, Swish, sometime in 2016. There’s no word yet regarding the release date of the album.
