Cox has been cast to play Dr. Frank-N-Furter, while Justice and Mccartan are due to play Janet and Brad, the two roles made legendary by Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick. For those unaware, Frank-N-Furter is a scientist, self-described as the “sweet transvestite from Transsexual, Transylvania,” and Janet and Brad are an unassuming couple who find themselves in Frank-N-Furter’s castle/lab.

The 1975 cult classic is set to be remade in a two-hour special, due out on Fox in fall of this year. The television special also has Reeve Carney playing Riff-Raff and Staz Nair portraying Rocky Horror on its roster.

The special is to be directed, executive produced and choreographed by Kenny Ortega, of High School Musical fame.

Hopefully with this talented and significantly younger cast can play tribute to the long-time fan favorite Rocky Horror.
