Andre 3000 admits he’s been holding back a little from his fans
It seems like it’s been eons since we’ve heard a solo project from Andre 3000. We’ve been patiently waiting but what we didn’t know is that Mr. 3000 is very much interested in giving us exactly what we want.
“I’ve been holding back for a long time, so now I’m really interested in figuring out some type of music to do. I’m always recording,” he told Billboard. “I can’t say that I have a target right now. I’ve gotten in trouble before for saying when or what is coming, so I like to just kind of let it be. I’d like to put out some kind of music project, but we’ll see.”
Now this isn’t exactly promising but its amazing to know just where Andre’s mind is musically. Hopefully he keeps this energy going and we’ll have some great new music for 2016. Andre also discussed the music he’s inspired by today.
“The new Kid Cudi album (Speedin’ Bullet 2 Heaven) is awesome to me,” he said. “That’s kind of like the most recent thing that I think is really great. But other than that I’ve kind of just been working in the studio and listening to what I’m doing.”
