The film is preparing to make its world premiere January 24 at the Sundance Film Festival. Next it will air on Showtime Febuary 5th at 9 PM Eastern/Pacific time.

This isn’t the first time Lee has worked with Jackson, in which he directed and co-produced the documentary Bad 25, which accompanied the reissue of his 1987 Bad album on its 25th anniversary. Lee also directed the video for Jackson’s 2009 posthumous hit song “This is It”.
