Erykah Badu dropped her But You Caint Use My Phone mixtape over the Thanksgiving holiday just after remixing Drake‘s “Hotline Bling,” turning the tropical smash into a slowed down ballad as part of her ushering in of what she’s calling “Trap&B.”
Today, Badu is tackling another popular record. Kanye West dropped his second song of the new year, the Ty Dolla $ign-featured “Real Friends” last week as part of his new G.O.O.D. Friday series, and the Texas songstress has trap’d it out, calling her version “Trill Friends” under the moniker Badu Whodini.
