The post continues explaining James didn’t mean to hurt 21-year-old Dorian Powell and that she’s on the run from police. A San Bernadino police spokesperson said told Los Angeles KABC-TV that “investigators have been monitoring her Facebook page and did see several of the posts that she made.”

The Facebook account has been disabled.

According to the Huffington Post and San Bernadino police, Powell’s body was found inside a Central Avenue apartment early Monday after someone placed a 911 call requesting assistance. His injuries, police said, were consistent with a stabbing. Authorities have deemed his slaying a homicide.

Apartment manager Melissa De Los Santos told KABC-TV she spoke with James’ mother Monday night. “She said that her daughter had bruises on her face, and she had pictures of that,” De Los Santos said. “He was being physically violent towards her.”

This is reportedly the third homicide this year in San Bernadino.
