Another teacher at Destrehan High School in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana was arrested this week on charges of carnal knowledge of a juvenile, also known as statutory rape.
Kimberly Naquin, a geography teacher, has been charged with the felony of prohibited sexual conduct between educator and student. She has also been charged with 10 counts of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile in Kenner, LA. Naquin is being held without bond at the Nelson Coleman Corrections facility in Killona, LA.
Authorities believe the student involved in this case is the same student who was sexually assaulted by two teachers earlier this school year. In that case, teachers Shelley Dufresne and Rachel Repress invited the student to one of their apartments to engage in a three-way sexual encounter.
Dufresne will be tried in Jefferson Parish, New Orleans alongside Respess. Dufresne has also been charged in St. Charles Parish but has agreed to the plea deal to avoid having to register as a sex offender. Repress has pleaded not guilty. It has been revealed Kimberley Naquin is the daughter of St. Charles Parish School Board President Dennis Naquin, who is yet to speak on the situation.
