2x NBA Champion (1970, 1973)
Walt “Clyde” Frazier’s skill set as a point guard were truly awe-inspiring. A natural scorer who was also able to dish out assists to teammates effortlessly, Frazier’s smooth playing style made it look he wasn’t even trying. His finesse style racked up points and assists en route to two NBA titles, but it was his defensive prowess that separated him from the pack. Making a case for being one of the greatest defensive point guards ever, Frazier was named to seven All-Defensive teams in his 13 year career and if the Defensive Player of the Year award existed back when he was stifling opponents, it’s a certainty that he would have a few of those trophies as well.
