Having a high basketball I.Q. is one of the most important aspects of playing the point guard position, and Utah Jazz legend John Stockton excelled at it. Playing alongside one of the greatest scorers ever in Karl Malone, the duo were able to master the pick-and-roll, leading to Stockton holding the all-time record for assists with 15,806, a feat that may never be surpassed. He was also a terror on defense, also being the NBA’s all-time leader in career steals. Points scored don’t seem to matter when you’re A+ at almost everything else.
