Things are heating back up for B.o.B. Not long after releasing the video for “Cold Bwoy,” a frigid record from his December mixtape, W.A.T.E.R. (We Are The Enemy), Bobby Ray has announced the project’s follow-up, F.I.R.E. (False Idols Ruined Egos), produced entirely by himself. With the free nine-track offering expected to arrive on Monday, it remains evident that B.o.B’s determined to keep flooding the streets in lieu of commercial viability.

In December, the Atlanta rapper went on a fiery tirade criticizing his label, Atlantic Records, for its lack of support. “There’s a ban on B.o.B,” he insisted, emphatically launching a Twitter rant. “They boycott me, they are afraid I’ll get too much exposure. When people say I’m ‘underrated’ or ‘slept on,’ it’s not entirely the case; “suppressed” is a better word. All my social media outlets are heavily monitored and my reach is crippled. My own label doesn’t even promote my albums, mixtapes, shows or events… ZERO promo. NONE!!! ZERO!!!”

He went on to thank T.I. and Hustle Gang, along with his core following, for their outpouring of encouragement, and having his back through all of the trials and tribulations. “To every fan who has ever gave me a RT, a follow, or a like… thank you for spreading the word. You’ve done more promo than the label,” he expressed. It sounds like they will soon be rewarded once again.
