Still completely thin, his waist was said to be a small 26 inches. From 1977 to the time of his passing, David Bowie adopted the persona of David Bowie. The man behind the lights and cameras, who had gone under the guise of a mod teenager, Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane and Thin White Duke would focus on consistently putting together strikingly fashionable and trend influenced looks for himself.
