The Tim Story directed flick starring rapper/actor Ice Cube and funnyman Kevin Hart was a surprise hit, much like the first Ride Along, which amassed $48.6 million on its debut weekend in 2014. \ Ride Along 2 was an unlikely contender for the sci-fi franchise’s most recent installment, which already has earned almost $2 billion around the globe. With this type of success, the future may already have a Ride Along 3 on the horizon.
