After pleading with fellow entertainers on Instagram, Meek Mill made an official donation to aid efforts to fix the clean water crisis in Flint, Michigan yesterday, and today Big Sean has joined him, officially launching the #HelpFlintKids fundraiser in conjunction with his Sean Anderson foundation.

Sean, a native of Detroit, which is just a 70-minute car ride from Flint, offered his sentiments on the growing crisis. “I am devastated by the water crisis that has put the entire city of Flint in a state of emergency. In recognizing the great work that the Community Foundation of Greater Flint Michigan has been doing, it is my hope we can help by raising the money needed to ensure that the children who have been hit the hardest receive the care that they need today and well into the future.” This is just the latest in a long line of philanthropic efforts set forth by Sean and his team to help Detroit in various areas, including education and poverty.

The fundraiser is fairly simple: donate $10 to the efforts to help Flint recover from their water crisis via Sean’s #HelpFlintKids campaign here, and you’ll automatically be entered in a contest to win a pair of VIP tickets to one of Sean’s shows this year. Sean also contributed $10,000 to the efforts.
