Mick Jenkins has been one of the most consistent new rappers of the last few years, and even when he’s not dropping a full project, his loosies reflect his talents accurately. The latest of those is “On The Map,” the Chicago rapper’s BADBADNOTGOOD-featured re-make of Sensei Blue‘s song of the same name, the music video of which has accumulated just under 150,000 views on YouTube. While we await his 2016 release, enjoy his smooth re-make of “On The Map,” which features Jenkins using his signature bellow of a voice to appeal to the song’s already laid-back nature, while paying respect to Sensei’s minimalist original vocals.
