The TDE president, known as one of the minds behind Black Hippy‘s rise to prominence and stardom, is more than the guy behind-the-scenes–he also gets very busy on the mic. Over the years he’ll emerge from behind his exec veil and drop a record–sometimes featuring a member of Black Hippy–reminding everyone of that fact, and today he’s let loose with the Cardo-produced “Gone,” which includes a deft sample of Erykah Badu‘s “On & On.”
Any chance we actually get an album from this guy? Who knows.
