With the promotional tour of Ride Along 2 hitting the UK this week, Kevin Hart and Ice Cube took time out from their busy schedules to spit a few bars with none other than the present prince of Grime, Stormzy.
The Londoner has had a year to remember, seeming to appear out of nowhere to dominate the scene with a whole new following of Grime enthusiasts and resurrecting a movement many thought was extinct.
The exchange took place in Manchester and showcased Hart at his side-splitting best, with both Ice and Stormzy struggling to hold back their laughter at the Philly native’s hysterics. Rapping over fellow Grime heavyweight JME‘s track “Serious,” both parties delivered quick fire bars with a rather awkward final result announced by Cube.
Still, to get a compliment from such a legend in the Hip Hop game as Ice Cube must’ve surely given Stormzy food for thought.
