Two days ago, interview footage of Stacey Dash on Fox & Friends discussing the recent boycotting of this year’s Academy Awards by Spike Lee, Jada Pinkett Smith and more surfaced, with Dash alleging that the only way to erase the “double standard” in Hollywood and the entertainment world is to get rid of shows like the BET Awards and the NAACP Image Awards. She also suggested that we eradicate Black History Month.

We have to make up our minds, either we are going to have segregation or integration. If we are going to have integration then we need to get rid of the BET Awards, the Image Awards and other awards that you can only get if you’re black.

She followed that statement with, “We are Americans, period.” Okay, Stacey.

In a hilarious response, BET grabbed a snapshot of Dash’s appearance on their popular The Game sitcom, and playfully asked for their “check back,” but it appears they had no plans of stopping there. The following Twitter video is a clip of BET Jams airing MJG‘s “That Girl” video, which starred Dash when it was released in 1997. Evidently, BET is expanding their troll tactics to the small screen, perfectly utilizing the #NeverForget hashtag, just as a reminder for the video vixen-turned-cultural analyst.
