With production from Rafael Saadiq, DJ Premier as well as his own personal work behind the boards, D’Angelo was able to create a trailblazing sound, despite the fact that he’d claimed to be plagued with “writer’s block” while still touring the Brown Sugar project. Tracks like Premier-produced “Devil’s Pie” appeared on the Hip Hop cult flick Belly, while the “Untitled(How Does It Feel?)” single kept its position on the Billboard charts for 33 weeks.

Salute to D’Angelo for this timeless classic that will forever hold a place in music!
