Young Thug has officially announced the release date of his upcoming mixtape, Slime Season 3, confirming its rumored arrival of February 5. “Didn’t mean to rain on y’all lil parade,” professed the Atlanta rapper in jest moments later, perhaps alluding to the fact that he’ll be dropping his project the same day as Wiz Khalifa‘s self-titled album, Khalifa and Dizzy Wright‘s Wisdom and Good Vibes EP, in addition to a slew of other artists expected to share projects next month.
While no tracklist has been revealed yet, Thugger has been previewing songs on Instagram, including a remix to Jeremih‘s Late Nights single, “Pass Dat.” There’s no telling for sure where they’ll end up however, as he reportedly has upwards of nine different projects currently in the vault, including collaborative efforts with Migos, Fetty Wap and Post Malone.
