It is being reported that the New York Knicks are in talks with the Atlanta Hawks for a possible trade involving all-star point guard Jeff Teague. As of this moment, it is unclear how serious New York’s interest is, or who else might possibly be involved. With the February 18 trade deadline looming closer, the franchise is in desperate need of an upgrade at the position with 34-year-old Jose Calderon averaging 7.5 points and 4 assists per game.

The addition of Teague would help bolster the lineup which boasts perennial all-star Carmelo Anthony and rookie of the year candidate Kristaps Porzingis. This is not the first time the Knicks have shown interest in Teague, as they previously attempted to acquire him via trade back in 2014, before Phil Jackson was named team president.
