Great news for Chinese music fans: the Record Academy has inked a deal with LeEco’s live-streaming service, Le Music, to stream the GRAMMY Award ceremony in China for the first time ever, giving access to the telecast from citizen’s phones and computers.
Eric Mika, SVP of Open Ecosystems, Strategic Alliances and Partnerships at LeEco said in a statement regarding the historic move: “We’re opening our entire ecosystem and more than 53 million daily users to the world’s biggest music award show.”
Now when Adele hits that GRAMMY stage on February 15 in Los Angeles, she can literally say hello from the other side.
