It doesn’t seem that far’fetche’d considering that he is still in tip top shape and has been outlasting his much younger peers for the past few years. In a recent interview with BBC, Floyd shared that he turned down nine figures to fight again.

As of right now, I am out completely. If I do get the itch to come back, it really won’t be for the money but I have to get paid. That’s why the nickname is Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather.

With his answer still leaving the possibility for a return, he did however shut down any rumors that suggested that he had been in negotiations for a big fight rematch with Manny Pacquiao.
