Tinashe‘s new album, Joyride, is due out sooner rather than later, especially considering the fact that she’s had several singles in rotation, most notably her Chris Brown-featured “Player,” which came on strong late last year as one of the year’s better R&B/Pop cuts. The Kentucky native debuted her somber, viscous brand of R&B on Aquarius, her somewhat-overlooked debut, but on Joyride, it’s clear she’s looking to push her sonic boundaries. While we wait for more details on the release of Tinashe’s sophomore album, she’s decided to hold us over with “Ride of Your Life,” a new R&B single produced by trap expert Metro Boomin.
