Awards season is definitely upon us, and a stacked stretch between January and February that has already seen the Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globes will soon give way to the NAACP Image Awards, the Grammys, and the Academy Awards later this month. Make sure you add an overseas staple, the BRIT Awards, to that mix, where Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Adele and more are already slated to perform.
Things just got a whole lot more interesting, as Rihanna has been announced as a guest performer. The Barbados native just released her new album, ANTI, and despite the botched roll-out and RIAA confusion, it’s been received as a major success for the innovative pop star.
