Yo Gotti‘s “Down in the DM” is easily one of the biggest rap hits of 2016, and the Memphis veteran has peaked at the perfect time; his new The Art of Hustle album, his second on Epic Records, is due to release on February 19. While we wait for the official video, Gotti’s blessed us with a remix to the banger, featuring Nicki Minaj, which she teased yesterday on her Instagram.
Nicki naturally brought the theatrics, opening up with a reference to the “Miley, what’s good?!” VMAs incident, and she and Gotti sound right home on the upgrade. It’s still unclear whether or not this will be the version used for the forthcoming music video, but either way, it’s time to sharpen up on your DM skills. Summer is coming.
