Actress and Fox News commentator Stacey Dash became the topic of discussion once again on Friday night [February 5, 2016] as host of the 2016 NAACP Image Awards, Anthony Anderson, made her the butt of one of his many opening jokes. After provoking the ire of social media and the Black community following her comments insisting things such as BET, NAACP Awards, and Black History Month should be done away with as “they promote segregation,” Dash has obviously yet to live things down.

During Anderson’s opening monologue, he made sure to poke fun at Dash’s comments in a room of their peers, suggesting she would actually be one of the presenters for the evening. He joked, “Everybody give a round of applause for Stacey Dash! What the hell is she doing here? Doesn’t she know that the Fox Network is using her? She’s just an Ann Coulter dipped in butterscotch. That’s all she is.” He continued, “Baby, don’t let them use you! Come back to the Black people.”

Dash took to Twitter and posted a cryptic tweet seemingly in response to Anderson.

The drama all stems from Dash’s appearance on Fox & Friends where she shares, ”We have to make up our minds. Either we want to have segregation or integration. If we don’t want segregation, then we need to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the Image Awards, where you’re only awarded if you’re black. If it were the other way around, we would be up in arms. It’s a double standard.”
