Kanye West is using Twitter regularly now, and it’s just about as awkward as that sounds. From announcing album titles to beefing with rappers, a once dormant account is suddenly as active as ever, and it’s clear that, like in real life, Yeezy’s filter is absent.
A short while ago, Kanye tweeted out “BILL COSBY IS INNOCENT!,” leading to a barrage of negative responses from social media, including New York magazine, who reminded Kanye of the cover story they ran last year involving 35 of Cosby’s alleged victims giving their accounts to the publication. Kanye preceded that tweet by congratulating Nike (?) on their newest LeBron shoe, and followed it with a picture of a studio session, highlighted by a printed image of a “flame” emoji taped up to a door window (??).
