Just when we thought Kanye West was done making adjustments to his seventh solo album, The Life of Pablo, the Chicago MC has thrown another wrench in the works. Despite announcing after his performance on “Saturday Night Live” that the project had been made available for download on KanyeWest.com, and his wife Kim Kardashian later insinuating in a since-deleted tweet that the website had crashed and the LP would be accessible to purchase in a matter of minutes, it turns out Kanye has had a temporary change of heart.
While it’s currently available for streaming on Tidal, Yeezy took to Twitter this afternoon to reveal that he’s decided to postpone making The Life of Pablo available for download for “another week” yet, and encouraged all music lovers to subscribe to the Jay-Z-led streaming service in the interim. While his motives for the delay have yet to be confirmed, it seems it’s due in part at least to the fact that he also plans to “fix ‘Wolves,'” possibly adding Vic Mensa and Sia‘s contributions back on after previously swapping out their original efforts in favor of a rare Frank Ocean appearance – a move that’s been met with its fair share of criticism from those who fell in love with the song’s previous incarnation.
