The Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn NYC set the stage for Valentine’s weekend February 12th with their sold out legendary All-Star lineup. Adam Torres Concerts hosted the ultimate Ladies Night Super R&B Jam that proved to be the concert of the year!
Faith Evans, Jagged Edge, Jodeci, SWV, Carl Thomas, Blackstreet, Total, The Lox and Black Rob tore the stage down in true 90’s form taking us through a trip down memory lane.
Some of the highlights include an emphatically energetic Jodeci performing their hit classics and bringing out Wu Tang frontman Raekwon for their remix rendition of ‘Freak N You’. Jagged Edge ran through their Valentine’s Day classics ‘Promise’ and mega hit ‘Let’s Get Married’ while the audience danced in their seats. Carl Thomas wowed the crowd with hits from his platinum selling album “Emotional” impressing fans while sounding exactly like his debut album. The Lox showed their solidarity performing their rap classics and honoring falling rap soldiers while commencing to lead the crowd with their fists up in the air.
SWV performed their huge 90’s hits and had every lady stood on their feet singing ‘Weak’ at the top of their lungs. Coko, Taj and Lelee danced through their songs ‘Anything’ and ‘I’m So Into You’ reminding us of the golden era in R&B music. The headliner, Faith stole the show despite going on last and killed her set with her unique soul-filled voice. ‘Soon As I Get Home’, ‘Love Like This’ and ‘You Gets No Love’ rang off until the very end while the ladies sang every song in unison.
All in all Ladies Night Super RnB Jam was a huge success and guaranteed to turn up every year, you don’t want to miss the next one!
