This past October, Kirk Knight dropped his debut project, Late Knight Special, chock full of the hard-hitting rhymes and the evocative metaphors we’ve become accustomed to from the Brooklyn native and Pro Era capo since he came onto the scene in 2012. For the most part, Knight’s releases have remained tenacious and upbeat, but for his newest visual he takes his foot off the pedal ever so slightly, and spends some quality time with a couple love interests in a dual video for “One Knight” and “Scorpio.” Dating back to his guest features on projects from Joey Bada$$ and Pro Era as a collective, sometimes some of Knight’s best work comes when he slows his flow in favor of a more intimate delivery, and this video is proof that trend has continue.
