Why Did Jeb Bush Tweet a Picture of a Gun Inscribed With His Name?

He might want you to know that he’s about that action, guys.

Republican Presidential candidate Jeb Bush has had a rough go of it the last couple months, as he’s watched Donald Trump and Ted Cruz trade victories at the Iowa Caucus and the New Hampshire Primary, and with just 7 months left until the general election, Bush has really got to make some serious headway in the polls to make the rest of his campaign worth his while.

Regardless of Jeb’s intention behind the picture, he’s going to come under a firestorm of scrutiny. What else did he expect? Uploading a picture of a gun inscribed with his name maybe wasn’t the best course of action while the country is constantly engaged in the most strenuous tug-of-war between pro and anti-gun groups possibly in its history. Jeb’s already begun catching shade from critics and members of the media, including Piers Morgan and Edward Snowden, who flat out suggested that Jeb “delete” his account.
