A throwback drop
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the twelfth signature Air Jordan, “The Master” retro sneakers are dropping this weekend. Jordan brand, one of the cultures most lauded and popular sneaker manufacturers is back re-dressing its widely worn Air Jordan 12 with a themed color way, this time emulating “the Master” vintage poster. This Jordan makeup might just see relatively quick non availability unlike the recent Air Jordan 5 “Dunk from Above” athletic shoes. Black laces and a predominantly black makeup are contrasted with a grey jump man and gold accents.
The Air Jordan 2 “Wing It” is another vintage poster come to life with black/white hues on a snakeskin offering high top. Jordan Brands’s campaign that coincided with the shoe’s original release in 1986 featured the shoes with the phrase “wing it” in bolded font, reminding wearers of his airness’ dunk game just as the words do on the back heel of the soon to drop kicks. Releasing on the same date of February 27th, 2016, the Nike poster homages are soon avaliable.
