Artist/producer Velous has been making a name for himself on the music scene for the past 18 months. From collaborations with the likes of Fabolous, Ty Dolla $ign, Tyga and more, to nabbing production credits for Drake (Right Hand) and a slew of others, the youngster from Upstate New York is definitely carving out his own niche. His biggest acclaim came he was revealed to be the person who produced the track that would become Kanye West’s “All Day,” this helping him to snag two Grammy nominations as the song was nominated for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance.
Though the track did not make it onto West’s recently released The Life of Pablo album, Velous did land on the album nonetheless, producing “Highlights,” featuring Young Thug and The-Dream. As he gears up to release his forthcoming solo project The Disco, via Coke Boys/ Swanky Music Group, Velous collaborates with CB head honcho French Montana on his new self-produced single “Flex Wit You.” Give it a listen below.
