Sean “Diddy” Combs is making a new foray into the fashion world. Today [Thursday, February 25] his clothing line for young girls, titled SJGirls, has launched in stores, and is a part of his award-winning Sean John line.

Citing the inspiration by his three daughters Jessie, D’Lila and Chance, the rap and fashion mogul shares that he worked closely with his girls to create his first-ever girls collection, helping to extend the now-family business.

“I am beyond thrilled to work with my girls on this new endeavor and I look forward in watching them grow with this project,” Diddy said in a statement. “They are young dreamers and will serve as an inspiration to girls everywhere.”

The line is available in Macy’s department stores and due online later this month, featuring items such as shirts, shorts, dresses and jackets, all ranging from $35 to $100, and offered in girls sizes 7-16.

“Jessie, D’Lila and Chance are fashionistas in their own right,” says Puff. “And creatively, the girls will be integrated into the brand creative as they embark on this venture as hip and stylish young entrepreneurs.”

The line for young girls comes 16 years after the brand ventured into the male children market.
