Drake and Rihanna became everyone’s relationship goals after they released the multi-video visual for their “Work” collab. Between the dirty whining and musical history between the two, everyone seems to want this ship to sail. To top it off, they appeared at the 2016 Brit Awards together and got even closer, bridging the video to life on stage. While rumors having been swirling for a while about a possible romance between the two, fans seem to really be here for it this week.

Kelly Rowland’s 35th Birthday Bash

The singing diva turned 35 this week, and to celebrate, she hosted a big birthday bash with some of her closest friends. We got to see Kelly snap it up in her birthday photo booth with close friends, including Solange, Tina Knowles, Ty Hunter and the world was blessed with a photo of Kelly, Michelle and Beyoncé taking a group photo. The moment sent waves of nostalgia through social media, as many began to beg for a DC3 tour. Even though the three ladies have given no indication that they’ll reunite, it looks like Kelly had a great time at her birthday bash.

Saint West Is Revealed

Even though he’s been in the world for two and half months, we finally got to see the latest member of the Kardashian-West clan in the flesh. Kim posted a picture of her and Kanye’s precious baby boy and with a striking resemblance to North, the cutie took social media by storm. While many continue to speculate on the weird happenings within the Kardashian/West/Jenner empire, one thing is certain: Kim and Kanye sure do make some cutie pie babies.

Black-Ish Tackles #BlackLivesMatter

In an historical moment on prime time television, the show (created by Kenya Moore) tackled the controversy and significance of the Black Lives Matter movement and addressed police brutality. While the episode did stun some viewers, it was noted as a very important and poignant moment in modern television.

Kelly Price Receives Her Doctorate in Philosophy

Sprinkling a little bit of #blackgirlmagic, Kelly Price came through with a doctoral degree. The “Friend of Mine” singer revealed on Instagram she had graduated as class valedictorian, and that this feat was another great milestone in her life. We love seeing Black renaissance women such as Kelly who are not only talented and entertaining, but educated and enlightening as well. Congrats!
