When Curren$y and Alchemist get together, elite results are achieved. Just think back to 2011’s Covert Coup, the free joint album Alc and Spitta hooked up for, that sported joints like “Smoke Break,” “Full Metal,” and “Scottie Pippen.” We all know that Curren$y’s a sucker for consistency, but when we talk about peaks in his career, that is most certainly one of them.

Thankfully, the dynamic duo had mercy on us and released a vague follow-up to CC, Carrollton Heist, earlier this month, packed with new jams for you to ride, smoke or chill out to. Today, we get a brand new music video off the project, “The Mack Book,” which finds the NOLA rapper as comfortable as you’ll find any rapper on an instrumental by one of his go-to producers. Watch the clip above, and get ready for a new Curren$y project in the near future, because there’s always a new Curren$y project dropping in the near future.
