Bas released his latest album, Too High To Riot, this past Friday, and its chock full of gritty and introspective rap anthems like “Night Job,” which features Dreamville front man J. Cole. The song originally appeared on Dreamville‘s compilation LP, Revenge of the Dreamers 2, but it also serves as one of THTR’s singles, thankfully. Bas and J. Cole, as they always do, trade razor sharp, smart verses over a minimally invasive instrumental that allows them to do what they do best. The sun doesn’t shine much in the video clip, understandably, but these guys illuminate quite effortlessly.
