Ahh, tournament time.

Conference championships, selection day, and the play-in games have come and gone. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the maddening, anxiety-testing period of Spring known to many as “March Madness.”

Over the next couple of weeks, no less than 6o-or-so teams (scores are going final as we speak; the field of 65 is already no more) will lay it all on the line in win-or-go-home situations for a chance to earn a National Championship berth. Baylor is one of those teams, and despite a respectable #5 ranking in their tournament region, was expected by many to be upset by the pride of the Ivy League this year, Yale University.

Needless to say (considering you’ve read the title of this story), those that expected the upset are looking like prophets right now, as Yale has a good chance of squeaking this one out, up two with less than a minute to play. And, unfortunately, that has had a very adverse effect on a couple of Baylor’s key players on the sideline.
