Those who’ve already managed to binge-watch the entire second season of Daredevil (and I’m sure that’s many of you) were awarded with a special surprise at end of the season’s final episode. A 24-second of the upcoming Luke Cage series awaited those who successfully watched all 13 episodes of Daredevil and it looks damn good.
The brief clip doesn’t give away much in the way of plot, but it does show some armed thugs letting off several rounds at Luke Cage (Mike Coulter) which of course ricocheted off his impenetrable skin. For added the effect, they play “Made You Look” by Nas toward the end. Nice touch.
Those who watched Marvel/Netflix’s Jessica Jones series got a taste for Coulter’s version of Luke Cage, though many were a bit disheartened by his performance. Let’s hope the second time is a charm.
