Last month, Young Thug was due to release the third installment of his Slime Season mixtape trilogy, Slime Season 3, but instead released an album called I’m Up, a switch inspired by Kanye West‘s multiple last minute album title changes. Still, Thug was adamant about his plans to release SS3, and during his time in Austin for SxSW, he unveiled the specific release date for the project, using a…funeral procession.
