Having spent four seasons with the Washington Redskins, running back Alfred Morris has inked a 2-year deal with NFC East division rivals the Dallas Cowboys. According to his agent, the deal is worth $3.5 million and can go up to $5.5 million with incentives. Morris made a splash with the Redskins in 2012, his rookie year, rushing for 1,613 yards, a single-season team record and scoring 13 touchdowns. Every year since then, his numbers have dropped but remained above 1,000 yards, even being named to the Pro Bowl in 2013 and 2014 respectively.

In 2015, Morris had his least productive season, rushing for 751 yards and just 1 touchdown. This might be because he was nagged by injuries and had to split carries with running back Matt Jones. With the Cowboys, Morris will have to compete for the starting job against Darren McFadden, who ran for 1,089 yards while starting in 10 games last season.
