Carmelo Anthony Thinks Cleveland Cavaliers Drama Is “Comical”

Thankfully, Carmelo Anthony and Lebron James are good friends so whenever he makes a comment about James,  James presumably knows it’s all in good fun. Anthony was recently asked about James and his Cleveland Cavalier teammates on their in-house turmoil and the media’s coverage of James unfollowing-then-following the team social media feed. Apparently, Anthony thinks what the cavaliers are dealing with is more comical than the serious matter the New York Knicks are going through.

But to be clear, he says, it’s not the same type of drama he has had to deal with in New York. Asked to compare the drama the Cavs and Knicks are experiencing this season, Anthony could only smile and chuckle.

“[The Cavaliers’] drama is more comical,” Anthony told reporters at Knicks shootaround in Chicago on Wednesday morning before the team’s game against the Bulls. “It’s more getting off of Twitter. Know what I mean? It’s always something that they blow up. Him unfollowing the organization. Him shutting his Twitter down. It is always something over there along those lines.

“Over here it’s drama, a different type of drama over here,” Anthony added with a laugh.

In the news hungry world of journalism, whatever James or Anthony does or says is magnetized. With the attention James received for unfollowing the Cavs on social media, it isn’t hard to agree why Anthony believes it’s comical.
