Earlier this year, a Fader report claimed that Atlanta rapper Young Thug and English rocker Elton John spoke to each other on a Facetime call, and formed tentative plans for an official remix to John’s classic “Rocket Man” record, which would apparently feature a singing Young Thug and no rapping.
Today, Elton John was spotted on Young Thug’s Instagram, wearing a “Thugger” hat and posing with some new Young Thug merchandise, more than likely taken from the collection that will be sold on the rapper’s forthcoming Hy!£UN35 tour, which kicks off in May. In his caption, Thug shared very few details on the circumstances surrounding his and Sir Elton’s rendezvous, but chances are they discussed the next step of the “Rocket Man” remix mission.
