Back in January, Jhene Aiko released a new single, “B’s & H’s,” via Soulection’s Beats1 Radio show on Apple Music without much context, but the Fisticuffs-produced song was a welcomed return to the solo circuit for Aiko, who spent much of 2015 being celebrated for her scene-stealing verse on Omarion‘s “Post To Be.”
There still aren’t many details on the follow-up to her 2014 debut album, Souled Out, but today we get the Topshelf Junior-directed new video for “B’s & H’s” (which stands for “B*****s and H**s,” if you didn’t gather that). The Cali native flies solo in the clip and shows off more than a couple evocative images and glances to the cameras while she scolds an anonymous guy for being more than a little promiscuous.
Chances are, these lyrics aren’t autobiographical, considering last week Jhene Aiko confirmed her marriage to producer Dot Da Genius. Congratulations to them!
