Nardwuar is back at it again with his sensational interviews, and after bringing the infallible DJ Khaled to the brink of utter disbelief in his extensive knowledge of Khaled’s early years, Nardwuar has gone after another rap giant, the man whose trust even Ben Affleck yearns, Atlanta producer Metro Boomin.
Metro, the conductor of Drake and Future‘s What A Time To Be Alive album and several notable releases from Young Thug, Tinashe, Kanye West and Rick Ross, talked with Nardwuar for just over 10 minutes about everything from Future’s eating habits to his role in co-producing Kanye’s volcanic “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1.” As expected, Narduwar knew things about Metro’s young life that Metro himself had trouble recalling, but the funniest moment came at the interview’s conclusion, when Metro didn’t know how to finish off Nardwuar’s memorable “Doot doola doot do…doot do!” catchphrase. He also had no idea WTF to do when Nardwuar stood and posed, as he always does, motionless in front of the camera for a significant length of time.
