The attacks injured over 230 individuals and claimed the life of over 30 people. To pay tribute to them, Adele asked the audience to shine their camera lights and sing along to the popular song, which featured on her debut album 19.

When she finished the ballad, the British singer was highly moved and confessed, “I don’t think I’ve ever actually been so moved in my life at one of my shows, that was just so beautiful. Thank you very much for doing that. I think they heard us.”
