Roc Nation is known for doing record and management deals with rap heavyweights like J. Cole and Big Sean, but lately they’ve been claiming their stake in R&B’s bright, new generation. Just weeks after welcoming multi-talented actor and singer Mack Wilds into the fold, the label has announced their signing of Justine Skye, the young songstress known for songs like 2014’s “Collide” with Tyga, and last year’s “I’m Yours” with Vic Mensa.

Previously signed to Atlantic Records, Skye has released two official EPs, most recently Emotionally Unavailable, which featured the collaboration with Mensa as well as “Bandit,” which made considerable noise last summer. Skye, a native of Brooklyn, also announced the signing on her Twitter account early this morning, following an interview with Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning, which you can watch below.
