Just over a year since breaking away from mega-popular boy band One Direction, Zayn Malik has released his solo debut album, Mind Of Mine, and you can stream it right here. Off the strength of songs like “PillowTalk,” “It’s You,” and a guest appearance on the remix to Chris Brown‘s latest hit, “Back To Sleep,” Zayn has officially launched his solo career, and it will be fascinating to see how he evolves.
Earlier this year, “PillowTalk” became just the 25th song in Billboard history to make its debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and it quickly became clear that Malik’s solo career was no publicity stunt. The subsequent success of “It’s You” and his first attempt at a club single, “Like I Would,” have made Mind Of Mine–which features a lone appearance from Kehlani–a true draw. Look for Zane to have a serious shot at debuting at #1 on the Billboard 200 next week as well, which would be a huge accomplishment for the 23-year-old’s still very young career.
