Justin Bieber just became the first artist to reach 10 billion views on VEVO.
VEVO tells Billboard the impressive number was racked up over a period of just six years: 2,316 days exactly. What’s even crazier is over four billion of Justin’s total views have come in since September, thanks to Justin’s third studio album, Purpose. Justin’s “Sorry” has acquired 1.1 billion views on its own so far. “Love Yourself” has reached around 455 million.
Justin has remained at the top spot on VEVO’s charts for 19 consecutive weeks now. Taylor Swift and Katy Perry were the only two artists to reach over a billion views on two videos, along with Justin. Justin’s first was his 2010 video for “Baby.” Justin is well on his way to another exclusive title, as the only artist to reach over a billion views on three videos. “What Do You Mean?” is predicted to be his third within the next few weeks.
